GRWM: Challenging Limiting Beliefs Edition

I made some big decisions for my creative studio yesterday.

You see, The Good Mantou sits comfortably at 90k on Instagram and business has been fairly great. Despite that, I know I have not maximised its full potential. I plan to change that, but the plan is not the focus today. Instead, I wanted to show you how I challenged my limiting beliefs, how I got from Point A – being scared and not wanting to go through with it to Point B – still scared but ready to crush it.

Limiting Belief #1: Failure will set me back.

Setbacks 👏 are 👏 not 👏 bad things 👏. Every setback is a lesson that brings success one step closer. In any case, should my actions cause the studio to crumble into nothingness (which it won't), the fact that I've made it work before means I'll be able to do it all over again.

Limiting Belief #2: This will be a waste of time.

Just by trying, I'm promised a 100% gain - win or learn. The real waste of time is living with a less satisfactory version of my biz baby, knowing very well I could have done something about it but I didn't dare to.

Limiting Belief #3: I don't have a fool-proof plan.

Except, there's no such thing. A success manual that works for all businesses does not exist. What I should be doing is ready, fire, aim. Set an incremental goal, execute what I think would help me achieve it, iterate and improve. Repeat until I find out what works.
